Here are some pics of the indie music fest at cyberzone in one e-com center, mall of asia.

It was a great day for the fest. The poster of the event was all over mall of asia. The performers showcased a variety of genre from pop, alternative, rock, reggae, new wave and punk. But that is not all. There are more bands who will be performing on day2. Come over and witness it [color=#FF0040]live[/color]!!See You There!

And so the bar shows continue. This one was exciting as great bands performed that night. Here are some images that captured the event.

Thanks a lot to radiopilipinas, songwriters ph, indiepinoy and magnet katipunan. Thanks to kuyakurt, nolit, marv, kv, wendel, chitols and the rest of the people who made the night explosive.

The bands enjoyed the crowd. The audience enjoyed the bands.

Another rockin’ night. Radiopilipinas invades the pearl of ortigas. Masaya at cozy ang lugar. Malapit pa sa audience ang stage. Very intimate at nagenjoy magperform halos lahat ng banda. Sarap na sarap din sa tugtugan ang mga manonood.

Another one of those exciting nights for the bar tour of radiopilipinas. It was almost like a night of steaming guitarists fingers. One band came all the way from pampangga just to showcase their music. The place was filled with appreciative people who enjoyed the night at Cubao Expo.

Thanks a lot to all the bands who performed and to all the people who came. Thanks to joey of genre bar for the variety of beer they placed on our table. .. and the sweet chocolate bites. Probably hinting that we are gonna be having corporate sponsors next time. Sana nga…

The third leg of the radiopilipinas bar tour continues at this small artistic place in front of miriam college in katipunan called mag.net. Some bands had to cancel due to emergency reasons but the place was not spared from the fun and excitement of the bands who gave their best performance. Here are a few photos:

As usual, I couldn’t get a picture of muffin as I was onstage. I hope kuyakurt or anyone else did took a picture of muffin.

The event was broadcasted live on radiopilipinas internet radio and was recorded for future rerun.

And so the bar tour continues, this time in the heart of ortigas center. Ten bands performed with great enthusiasm. And the night went on until the early morning.

The Radiopilipinas Bar Tour kicked off with a blast at 9mile bar in kalayaan ave., qc. Bands who’s songs are being regularly played on the internet radio performed to a responsive crowd. Spotted among the audience are talent scouts from several record labels as well as producers who enjoyed every song the bands played.

The audience enjoyed the band and the band enjoyed the audience. It was one funfilled evening where samples of songs from radiopilipinas was heared live.

A live broadcast of the night didnt push through due to technical difficulties. However the staff was able to record the audio of the performances and will be broadcasting it in the days to come. Watch out for it.

Another night of indie jamming. The night was fun-filled with exciting performs and a jam-packed venue of responsive crowd mostly composed of people from the songwriters community.

There was no free beer unlike that one held earlier, instead there was a free shot of brandy. Sayang wala ang Tabass or else they would have enjoyed the Granma.

Thanks a lot to all the performers and all the audiences. The night was a great success. The bands enjoyed the audience as the audience enjoyed the bands.

It was unfortunate however that we didn’t get to broadcast the show live on radiopilipinas internet radio. We had our equipments on the set but for unforeseen reason we failed to get an internet connection. We will try our best to broadcast on the next show on jan 31. To all kababayans outside manila and out of the country, you can enjoy the fun by tuning in on jan31.

The show was a joint project of radiopilipinas.com, indiepinoy.com and songwritersph.net.

Its my comeback in producing shows. Indie Orgy Nights is a collaboration show of radiopilipinas, indiepinoy and songwriters philippines. This was held at Genre Bar which is located at the 2nd floor of Allan’s Grill at that new artist haven called Cubao Expo (formerly Marikina Expo) right at the back of what used to be Rustans and beside what used to be COD.

The last time I produced shows was around mid 1990s at mayrics. All those Gimik Asembli series which reached part 15 spanning several years was a huge success for that production outfit I created called Bright Red Music Productions. Kearny Rosete of One Big Family Prods told me the sad news midway of the indie orgy nights that Mayrics is now closed. The owner has called it quits. Although there are efforts from different bands and production outfits to revive the place.

Anyway, Indie Orgy Night was grand. Showcasing great bands and having the place filled up with really great people who knows how to appreciate music. From the original line up, carpe diem was absent. So there were dream kitchen, the bernadettes, hooligans, tabass, geek city riot, blue martian cookies, muffin and where’s charlie.

Here are a few pictures of the night. Not really good quality since I was just using my cellphones camera. Sadly I wasn’t able to get a picture of muffin onstage for obvious reasons… nasa stage ako. If anyone has a pic just post it here para makumpleto.

The night was supposed to be ended with Joey Pepe Smith, but the show ended early and he came in too late. His band mates were there anyway enjoying the party.
